  15. Have you tested the Fastlane in your A3000 with just a normal SCSI2 Fast
  16. hard drive?  Only the later versions of the Fastlane would work correctly
  17. with A3000.  Are you using the Z3DMAControl utility and trying to force
  18. BUSTER11 mode?  (Do you have a Buster rev 11?)

  20. What about UnitControl?  Does the Pinnacle support synchronous (I assume
  21. so) and if so does UnitControl show that it is coming up in Synchronous
  22. mode?  What about the Period and Offset values in UnitControl?  (They are
  23. called something different but they are the two sliders in the top of the
  24. UnitControl GUI.)

  26. For that matter, why use a Fastlane?  The A3000 native SCSI can do better
  27. than 2MB/sec in asynchronous and that is more than plenty for a single
  28. speed CDROM writer.
